Perhaps the most common question we are asked is this:
‘Why are you so much cheaper than KwikKerb®”
There is a very simple answer – we choose to be – we don’t want to make HUGE profit while helping people get into their own business.
Since developing Zippykerb in 1982 (many years before KwikKerb® began in business) we have evolved to own a number of highly successful and profitable businesses here in Australia, the USA Asia and NZ
We invented the Zippykerb Continuous Concrete Edging Concept way back in 1982 when we owned a substantial building and building materials manufacturing business in Sydney and Newcastle and as such it has always been our “baby’ that we really do enjoy sharing with others.
We are very happy to be able to help you get into business with very little risk while making a low net profit as Zippykerb is all about success to us and not profitability.
PLEASE! For the sake of yourself and family don’t buy a KwikKerb® business until you really look into what you are paying relative to what you receive.
Just to show what people are willing to sell a used KwikKerb business for, here are some of the second hand machines I have found on the Net... See my notes below these ads'
Here in Australia the average price I can find for the package second hand is from around $40,000 to $65,000
How on earth can this be justified when you can purchase a New Zippykerb package – add a locally purchased ( even second hand) trailer and mixer etc and still be 10’s of $1000’s cheaper than a used KwikKerb® business?
I genuinely feel sorry for people who have purchased a KwikKerb® before finding us.
Zippykerb is genuine value for money
I’ve just found this on EBay:
Price: 24,500.00 |

Business Opportunity -- Edgemaster Continuous Concrete Edging Machine, hi bidders i am selling my kerbing setup it is a kwik kerb setup which i have used for the past year and a half its is a very good money making business for full time or part time my setup is a kwik kerb setup but i have created my own business name which is registered in Queensland it is called graingers kerbing kings i did this to save myself some money on start up as i brought the setup second hand and it costs an extra $28,000 to do a 7 day course and call yourself kwik kerb which is a waste of money in my opinion kwik kerb setup 4 years old all in good condition it has all moulds and tools cement mixer 2 wheels barrows 4 shovels 2 rakes turf cutter kerbing machine various buckets and watering can drill with mixer attachment all metal stamps for paving looks 2 rubber stamps one for wood grain effect and one for slate effect 1000 business cards and may other tools inspections welcome |
While the figures below are only an educated guestimate work it out for yourself as to what things are roughly worth to manufacture or purchase.
A machine with moulds & hand tools | Say $5000 |
An enclosed sign written trailer | Say $4000 |
A Trench Digger | Say $2000 |
Training Costs | $1000 |
Signs - brochures etc | $1000 |
Tools - shovels wheel barrows bits & pieces | $1500 |
Rubber stamps | $500 |
Other bits Manuals etc | $500 |
Total | $15,500 |
Stuffed if I can see where the HUGE difference is in value between the new asking price and this rough guestimate. We are manufacturers and it’s fairly accurate as to what we would think it would cost us to produce.
However; It’s only our rough opinion… work it out for yourself.
Hope this is helpful – purchasing any business needs careful consideration; there is not a lot of risk with ZippyKerb with our low entry price compared to our competition.
Price is only ONE of the reasons why we are better:
Look forward to conversation
All the best
